Pro-Tools isn’t the same company we were when we emerged from a perfect storm of passion for racing cars, expertise in metal fabrication, a tight budget, and a little elbow grease in 1989. A lot has changed. We’ve grown, expanded, and improved and so has our vision for the company. From a one man shop in South Florida, we’ve blossomed into a team of fabricators, leaders, and innovators with a fierce determination to serve our customers. After over 25 years in the business, we decided to consider what the next 25 years might look like. With our past in mind, we reexamined assumptions, values, methods, policies, and practices. In an effort to be at the forefront of our industry, we took six weeks to strip the shop, clean house, and purchase new equipment. Our new philosophy centers on lean manufacturing principles, production flow, and, most importantly, continuous quality improvement. We’ve instituted technical training programs amongst the entire staff to upgrade our skills and increase our knowledge in response to changing conditions. We completely reevaluated our pricing structure. All of these changes culminate in an enhanced ability to serve and assist our customers.
Why do we care about our customers so much? We like our tools—from die grinders, drill presses, and cold saws to computers, CNC-mills, and water jets—to be rugged and dependable, so we expect our customers want the same. During the design and manufacturing process, we work hard to give our customers a high-quality, USA-made product at an affordable price. We stand behind our product. All of our tools are 100% guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship. We will replace any part that fails at no cost to you. Our dedication to our customers doesn’t stop there. All of us at Pro-Tools realize that when you are starting a project sometimes a little help is appreciated, so we offer free technical support to all our customers. We’re not into games and gimmicks—no high-pressure salesmanship, up-selling, or over-exaggerated tool specs. We sell awesome tools at honest prices. Period.
