Bending Basics: Choosing the best bender for your metal fabrication project

Which Pro-Tools bender is right for me?

         

The Pro-Tools 105 Standard Duty Bender might be right for you if:

  • You don't work with anything bigger than 1-3/4" OD round tubing

  • You work with NPS 1-1/2 or smaller pipe

  • Your projects demand the capability to do more than 90° bends on a consistent basis

The Pro-Tools 105 Heavy Duty Bender might be right for you if:

  • You need the 2" OD Round Tube capacity

  • You work with NPS 1-1/2 or smaller pipe

  • Your projects demand the capability to do more than 90° bends on a consistent basis

 

The Pro-Tools 105 Brute Bender might be right for you if:

  • You need the 2-1/2" OD Round Tube capacity

  • You need the NPS 2 Pipe capacity

  • Your projects demand the capability to do more than 90° bends on a consistent basis

 

The Pro-Tools 200 "Bottle Jack" Bender might be right for you if:

  • You projects or shop require a bender with maximum portability

  • You don't work with anything bigger than 2" OD Round Tubing

  • You don't work with anything bigger than NPS 1-1/2 Pipe

  • You can butt-weld two pieces of bent tubing/pipe to form bends larger than 90°, if ever necessary

 

The Pro-Tools 302 "One Shot" Bender might be right for you if:

  • Your projects demand a high-output machine

  • You don't work with anything bigger than 2" OD Round Tubing

  • You don't work with anything bigger than NPS 1-1/2 Pipe

  • You can butt-weld two pieces of bent tubing/pipe to form bends larger than 90°, if ever necessary
